Trek / Wars  (3-D)   The long-awaited merging of the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises depicts the crew of the USS Enterprise as they encounter the Rebel Alliance at the edge of the Naboo galaxy.   Though made with a rumored budget of eight quintillion dollars, the film was certified as the highest-grossing product in the history of human commerce a full three weeks before release.

Just Right (3-D)  Michael Bay’s billion-dollar reimagining of the Goldilocks story stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the wayward cottage intruder and features a cameo from Benedict Cumberbatch as a bowl of porridge.  2 hours 45 mins.

Green Lantern VI:  Quest For Redemption of Justice  (3-D)  The latest installment of the venerable superhero franchise boasts an all-star cast, including Liam Neeson, Tina Fey, Judy Dench, Ben Kingsley, Will Ferrell, and Benedict Cumberbatch, as well as newcomer Tyler Murray Borington Jr. in the title role.

The Family Circus Movie  Bil Keane’s beloved comic comes to life in a computer-animated feature, with the voices of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Steve Buscemi.  Includes Rhianna’s hit theme song, “Gonna Love You With My Body.”

Hogan’s Heroes   A big-budget adaptation of the 1960s TV series, starring Adam Sandler as Colonel Robert Hogan, Jaime Foxx as Kinch, Seth Rogen as Sergeant Shultz, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Colonel Klink.  Title theme performed by Jay-Z.
